I, like others, bought the Xbox 360 Play & Charge Kit before I bought the Quick Charge Kit. The Play & Charge does allow you to keep playing but it never fully charges your battery so you always have to be attached with a cord. I needed to plug in my wireless internet so I tried plugging my Play & Charge into the computer with the same result. So I read some reviews, bought the Quick Charge Kit and am so happy. When the batteries are fully charged you have more game time and have to actually charge less often. Also the charging time is short and it doesn't take much space on the desk. I bought extra rechargeable batteries just in case, but I haven't had to open them yet because the Quick Charger works so well. So buy this instead of the Play & Charge and just get some extra batteries if you think you may have some downtime rather than the Play & Charge.
