I like the look of this charger, which was the primary reason I bought it. Looking around for inductive chargers and such we're mostly white. Anyhow, you do have to buy the black batteries from Microsoft for this device. Although there have been posts that the Nyko batteries work too, the instructions recommend the Microsoft ones. Buying the black Microsoft batteries at the moment is a bit of a hassle from what I found, so I simply opted to buy the "plug and play" adapter which comes with the black batteries for this charger. All in all the "plug and play" charger and battery combo isn't that much more than the battery itself. This charger works, looks nice, and could be used to charge your wireless headset too.
